Welcome · Ministries · Indianapolis
Safe Families for Children-Indianapolis launched in May 2008. We are excited to be part of Safe Families and look forward to seeing what God has in store for us here in central Indiana.

Our first placement took place this summer through a referral from Youth Emergency Services, who told us about "JL," a six-year-old boy living in a shelter with his family. We placed JL with a local family, giving his parents the time and space they need to find permanent housing, and he is doing very well. In fact, JL's teacher says his behavior has dramatically improved compared to last school year.

Safe Families-Indianapolis is hoping to partner with area churches to recruit more volunteers. In fact, Grace Community Church (Noblesville, IN) recently welcomed us as part of its Frontline Ministry.
